ALS signed “G. Bernard Shaw,” one page, 3.5 x 4, 4 Whitehall Court letterhead, November 13, 1935. Letter to Stanley Parker, Jr., in full: "I am rather hard pressed at present; but if you would care to call here tomorrow (Saturday) morning at 12 I can make time for at least a shake-hands. The drawing is very well composed; but to give the composition a strong base you had to make my goddesses fearfully bleakly." Addressed on the reverse by Shaw. In fine condition, with trimmed edges. Parker specialized in caricatures of celebrities connected with the theater.
