<B>George Barris Ford Mustang GX Coupe Design Artwork.</B></I> Introduced to car buyers in 1964, the Ford Mustang sold more than one million units in its first 18 months on the market and ushered in a new era of sportscars. This 28" x 15" pencil-and-oil pastel design sketch by George Barris is for an unproduced Mustang GX Coupe featuring a sleek design with elements borrowed from the Fastback version of the classic pony car. The drawing has been dated October 15, 1966 and signed by Barris. It is on heavy illustration board and has been matted to an overall size of 30" x 20".
