Hardcover with dustjacket, 5.75 x 7.5. signed and inscribed on the first free end page “To Joyce A Marns—the lovely wren in Kandy Ceylon—Sgt. George Baker.” Baker has added a large sketch of the title character. In very good condition, with toning, staining to the signed page and last three pages as well as the boards; the dust jacket rates good with mild creasing, a few tears, chipping, and staining and wrinkling to the back from apparent exposure to moisture.
