<B>George B. McClellan:<I> Manual of Bayonet Exercise</B></I></B></I> <I>Prepared for Use of the Army of the United States.</B></I> (Philadelphia: J. B. Lippincott & Company, 1862), 118 pages, 24 full-page line drawings, black cloth with blind stamped rules and eagle motif on front and rear boards, gilt titles, 12mo (5" x 7.5"), moderate foxing throughout, wear to cloth at the corners and edges of boards, small holes in cloth on the spine slightly affecting titles, else very good. McClellan translated the manual from the original French, and it was published for the first time in the fall of 1852.
