<td width="100%">
This is a 1920s Genesy Railroad Lantern that is operated by a 6v battery. It is in incredible condition inside and out, and works perfectly. The top reads " Genesy Electric Lantern Co. Kansas City MO" and unscrews easily. On the bottom just above the attached stand it reads Patented #2599419. The outside has very slight surface rust mostly towards the bottom that would clean up real nice. There is a scuff mark on the cylinder that was hard to photograph. The inside cap holds two extra bulbs on top. The black handle is in good shape. The lights work -one at a time- by sliding the tab on either side in opposite directions. The battery is inserted with spring side down. My research tells me that one of the bulbs should be red. I am not sure if it is suppose to have some kind of lens cover. It stands 10-3/4" high. Great overall /well maintained condition
