<b>The Nick Baldwin Collection</b>
<p>After 40 years of collecting just about anything to do with motoring, Nick Baldwin has decided to sell his vast collection to concentrate on his long-running A-Z of Farm Tractors & Lorries, which due to pressure of time is languishing on the letter H!
<p>Nick’s career has spanned The Autocar, Motor Transport, Old Motor, Supercar, The Automobile and various classic titles and mementoes from all these periods are included in the sale.
<p>Amongst the eclectic selection of lots for sale from Nick is the first vehicle he rescued in the 1960’s, a 1930 Bean truck, and the 1960 Austin-Healey 3000 owned from 1985. From a period of high living with Supercar Classics are a 1924 Bugatti Brescia and a 1926 Sunbeam 3 litre twin-cam similar to the car that finished second at Le Mans in 1925. There is also an ultra-rare Tickford bodied 1950 Land-Rover, two other Series 1’s, a unique Austin 20hp tractor, and a 1931 Maudslay coach. In the hundreds of lots of Automobilia are models, brochures, petroliana, agricultural bygones, bicycles, and the impressive collection of enamel signs displayed throughout the barns.
