One page, 8.5” x 11”, on Lincoln Memorial University letterhead, Burlington, Vermont, March 25, 1905, to his nephew Lawrence R. Howard, Plainfield, New Jersey. The former general writes his nephew to apprise him of his arrival time for a imminent visit. Howard enjoyed a distinguished military career and, in addition to founding Lincoln Memorial University, he was also instrumental in founding Howard University. With the usual fold creases, the paper is uniformly toned, else a bright signature in very good condition. <I>Ex. Henry E.
