Two 1877 death resolutions for Confederate Civil War General Nathan Bedford Forrest signed by many of his commrades. Held in the rooms of the Honorable Casey Young in the city of Washington, October 30, 1877. Written and singed by General G.G. Dibrell. Both images measure 8" x 11 3/4". Frame measures 25" wide x 22 1/2" tall. AND, Resolutions Adopted by the Chickasaw Lodge upon the death of Brother N.B. Forrest. Tribute signed by Robert Hutchinson as Secretary of the Chickasaw Lodge #8 I.O.O.F. of Memphis, Tenn., November 5, 1877. 3 letters, text front and back, nicely framed. Back of frame is also matted to see back of letters. Each letter measures 8" x 12 1/2". Frame measures 34 1/2" wide x 23" tall.
