Dated 6 August 1816, the partially typed, partially handwritten French-language document demands confidentiality in its requests for an expedient reply with details about the Legion of Honor's cavalry. 8'' x 12.25''. Uneven left edge and creasing just below a bisecting fold, else near fine.
