Later turned up late at Gettysburg leaving Lee "blind". Mortally wounded at Yellow Tavern. ANS, Fort Riley, in full: "<I>Be sure to direct Lieut J. E. B. Stuart Fort Riley K. T. P. S. I enclose also $3 more for which please send the Congressional Globe & appendix to P. F. Taylor Fort Riley K. T.</B></I>" A magnificent signature which alone can fetch upwards of $5,000.
