<B>Major-General George Meade Hand-Colored Engraving.</B></I> 9.5" x 13.5", framed and matted under glass to an overall size of 17.25" x 20.5", published by Phelps and Watson, New York, no date. A beautifully hand-colored engraving of the Commander of the Army of the Potomac, General George G. Meade. Meade is pictured astride his proud horse with two brother officers in the background. The engraving is enhanced by an older wooden frame which has a few nicks and scrapes present.
