Gene Kranz's mission control console material for the Apollo 7 mission, contained in a bracket-bound folder labeled "Apollo 7, Techniques Description, Reentry Monitoring and Backup Control Procedures, Apollo Entry Summary Document, Etc.," and marked above, "Apollo 7/1." The first manual contained therein is entitled "Apollo Mission Techniques, Mission C, Retrofire and Reentry, Volume 1, Techniques Description, Revision A," dated September 6, 1968; the second is "Reentry Monitoring and Backup Control Procedures for Mission, C/CSM-101 (Apollo 7), dated August 15, 1968, identified in the the upper right of cover page, "FC/E. F. Kranz"; the third is entitled "MSC Internal Note MSC-CF-P-68-11, Apollo Entry Summary Document, Mission 'C,' (SA-205, S/C-101) Final Copy"; and the fourth, "Final Flight Mission Rules, Revision C, Apollo 7," dated September 30, 1968. Also includes several memorandums relayed to Kranz concerning flight operations. Spine of manual marked, "Apollo 7." Back cover of folder bears label marked: "F/C Experimenters Handbook, 'Pearl Harbor File.'" In very good to fine condition, with general light overall wear from use. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Farthest Reaches, which states that the binder was assembled and maintained on the Apollo 7 MCC Console by Flight Director Gene Kranz.
