<B>Gene Autry Comics #1 Mile High pedigree (Fawcett, 1941) CGC NM+ 9.6 Off-white to white pages.</B></I> The Western comic fan's holy grail? We don't know what else you would call the finest known copy (by far) of the most valuable Western comic issue (by far), a book hailing from the most respected of all pedigree collections! This is the only copy graded above 8.0 by CGC to date. Gerber's <B>Photo-Journal</B></I> assigned this first issue a scarcity rating of 8, or "rare," and Overstreet also gives it the "rare" designation. CGC has certified it NM+ 9.6, and you can see why: with a perfect spine and edges and deeply saturated color, this copy has all of the qualities that make the Mile High books so famous. Overstreet 2006 NM- 9.2 value = $13,000.
