The entire piece is framed to an overall size of 7.75" x 10". A brass nameplate underneath the image reads "GENERAL WILLIAM T. SHERMAN / USA 1820-1891". The image is the work of prolific Civil War photographer Mathew Brady. The corners of the card have been rounded. The image is in fine condition.
