Collection of 66 vintage glossy NASA photographs from the Gemini program, each approximately 8 x 10 and 10 x 8, documenting the crew, the personnel, the spacecraft, and other notable events from America’s second manned space program. The assemblage includes 29 black-numbered examples (five in color); 18 red-numbered (all color, mostly images of Earth); 14 unnumbered; and five blue-numbered (all color); for a total of 28 color photos. With the exception of one red-numbered color photo, all other color examples have NASA caption text and “A Kodak Paper” watermarks on the reverse. A total of 40 photos feature “Return to: Chronicle Files” stamps on the reverse, with the majority of photos featuring annotations and many marked “File.”

Photo subjects include (with some duplicates): Astronauts Neil Armstrong, Ed White, and Jim McDivitt participating in weightless flight; Gordon Cooper and Charles Conrad leaving the suiting trailer on the day of their Gemini V launch; Buzz Aldrin floating near the Agena Target Docking Vehicle during a Gemini XII EVA; the Indian Ocean off the coast of Australia from a distance of 700 nautical miles above the Earth; Gus Grissom and John Young suited up for a Gemini 3 training session; a view of the eclipse of the sun as viewed from the Gemini XII spacecraft; Armstrong and Young standing next to each other in the A & E Building at Cape Canaveral; a tropical storm in the south Atlantic as viewed from the Gemini V spacecraft; Ed White performing his historic space walk during the Gemini IV mission; a close-up of Aldrin performing an EVA during Gemini XII, and many more. In overall very good to fine condition, with some creases and wear to edges, and some editorial notations to image sides.
