Flown Gemini 11 Fliteline medal, gold over sterling, measuring approximately .75 x 1. One side bears a raised image of the mission insignia, with the other side engraved “Gemini XI, Sept. 12–15, 1966.” Accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity from Charles Conrad which states, “This gold plated sterling silver Gemini XI medallion flew in space from September 12 to 15, 1966. I was mission commander…The medallion is from my personal collection.” Some light tarnishing to reverse, otherwise fine condition.
