<B>Randall Garrett. </B></I><B><I>Trouble With Magic</B></I></B></I><B> Original Manuscript, Illustration Orders and Galley Proofs. </B></I><BR> <BR>Excellent production archive including the original 45-page typed manuscript for Garrett's short story <I>Trouble With Magic</B></I> which first appeared in the March 1959 issue of <I>Fantastic</B></I> <I>Stories of the Imagination.</B></I> Also included is a set of galley proofs and two Illustration Order carbons for the short story, as well as the manila envelope from the publisher's files that held these items. Garrett's typed manuscript has been heavily edited and marked up by proofreaders and typesetters. It is age toned, brittle, smudged, creased, and occasionally torn. The yellow Illustration Orders are in very good condition with minor wear/water stains along left edge. Proofs are heavily age toned and a bit brittle, but in surprisingly good shape with just a few minor chips on some leaves.
