<B>Garfield & Arthur: An Impressive Large Jugate Poster In Impeccable Condition.</B></I> Black and white lithography seems to have reached its zenith in the late 1800s, as political posters of this era exhibit marvelous composition and detail. Few are better rendered than this beauty by Shipman and Company, New York. Exhibiting none of the usual wrinkles, stains, or edge roughness, it is in virtually flawless condition but for trivial small stains in three of the corners, easily matted out if one felt the need. A great display item for this tough pair.
