1930s, Deck of 52 Playing Cards By Le Bourgeois, Ft, 2O, r. de la Banque, Paris. This particular deck is unique, the only one found of this variety. This deck is larger in size than all of the other decks known of this company and was made sometime in the 1930s, later than all of the other decks by Le Bourgeois, which were made between 1870 and 1880. The cards of 1870 and 1880 are 3" x 2-1/4"; the Kings, Queens, and Jacks are in color and have a pink back and gold edge. These cards are the same except for the larger size, being 3-1/4" in height. The Playing Card Museum of Ohio has examined this deck and has never seen another deck similar to the ones made between 1870 to 1880. A rare opportunity to acquire a unique deck of playing cards from the Le Bourgeois maker.
