Partly printed, completed in manuscript. In part, "<I>Nine months after date I promise to pay to the Secretary of the Treasury of the Republic of Texas One hundred & seven dollars,-in promissory notes of the government, in gold or in silver, for value received...</B></I>" Witness: "<I>G. Wm. Adams</B></I>." Very fine condition. <B>2) Doswell & Adams</B></I> Document Signed "<I>Doswell & Adams</B></I>"/Auctioneers, one page, 7.75" x 4.75". Houston, Texas, November 15, 1837. Partly printed, completed in manuscript. In part, "<I>This is to certify, That S. Rhoades Fisher purchased Lot. No. 266 in Section No. One on Galveston Island, for Ten Dollars...per act of Congress, approved June, 1837...</B></I>" Slight separation at folds at edges.
