GROUPING OF US MARINE CORPS RELATED COLD WEATHER

CLOTHING FROM THE WWII/KOREAN WAR ERA.
1) DECK JACKET. US Navy marked deck jacket. Green jacket has pile & wool lining. 1 Flap pocket on each side. Integral hood. Tag inside jacket is partially illegible & has no size information. CONDITION: jacket is in good condition w/ fading, light wear, staining & 1 missing grommet on right sleeve.
2) COLD WEATHER COAT. Green cotton coat w/ integral pile lined hood. Coat has snap-in pile liner. Button & zipper closure. 1 Lg. cargo pocket & 1 slash type pocket on each side. Coat is unmarked except for size tag (Large). CONDITION: coat has moderate wear, staining & fading. Notable wear around cuffs.
3) SWEATERS. 2 Wool pullover sweaters. 1 Is OD green. 1 Is brown. Sweaters have 5 button necks. Both are unmarked. CONDITION: brown sweater has 1 missing button. Sweaters have light wear & scattered spots of insect damage throughout.
4) US NAVY OVERALLS. Vintage US Navy cotton wool lined overalls from the 1950s. CONDITION: overalls have light wear & considerable staining throughout.
5) FIELD TROUSERS. M-1951 green trousers w/ pile trouser liner marked "M-1951 Size Med-Reg". Trousers have pockets & cargo pockets w/ numerous buttons, straps, loops, etc. CONDITION: trousers & liner in good to very good condition.
6) GROUP ALSO INCLUDES: 1 Pair of leather faced "trigger finger" mittens & 2 pairs of green wool liners in good serviceable condition. 1 Pair of brown leather dress gloves in well worn condition. 1 Green wool Balaclava full head mask in good serviceable condition w/ scattered sm. insect damage.
