BARRELED RECEIVERS. No.1: Cal. 30-06. S# 2536106. Bbl. 24". Throat gauges: 4.0. Muzzle gauges: 6.0. Bbl. marked on the right side w/ "WP" proof & import marks. Marked on top "D35448-WRA". Receiver includes rear sight base, sight cover & clip latch. Lower band, gas cyl., stacking swivel, gas cyl. lock, lock screw & front sight included w/ bbl. CONDITION: metal is very worn turning overall gray & has numerous areas of pitting notably on top of bbl. over chamber. Fair worn bore. (25-2922/RW). No.2: Cal. 30-06. S# 298882. Bbl. 24". Stripped bbl. Bbl. is marked on right side w/ an inverted "S-A 8-41" & British export proofs & drawing number on top. Throat gauges: 1.0. Muzzle gauges: 1.0. Receiver produced mid 1941. All major parts markings appear to be "SA". Parts included are complete bolt, complete T105E1 rear sight, trigger group assembly including milled trigger guard, clip latch, follower & operating rod catch. CONDITION: receiver retains approx. 50% of its original finish w/ thinning & wear. Bore has lightly frosting in the grooves w/ strong lands. (25-2932/RW). BOTH MODERNS. $500-700.
