The Knight group consists of his most famous orig artwork, his rendition for the dust jacket of his book Pilot’s Luck. The ink picture measures 15-1/2” x 20-3/4”; a 1929 autographed first edition of the book; a 9-1/2” x 21” section of a roundel from Knight’s DH 9 bomber; his 3/4 length flying coat, two flying caps, flying goggles, U.S. Air Service pilot’s uniform consisting of his tunic (the tunic he was wearing when he was shot down and made a POW), trousers, Sam Browne belt, two pair of boots, overseas cap, and RAF visor cap. Also, a blue binder containing a Xerox copy of a Clayton Knight interview from the Spring 1967 issue of Cross & Cockade Journal and a 5” x 8” copy photograph of Lt.
