This handsome, silver handled cane would make any gambler proud. The cylindrical silver handle is ornamentedwith acanthus scroll-like bands, and is 3.25" high and almost 1.25" in diameter. The top has a pierced acanthusdesign, and the friction lid opens to enable removal of the bone dice cup with 2 small dice and 12 bone poker chips.The dice cup is 1" in diameter and .75" high, the dice are .25" on a side and the gambling chips are 1" in diameter.The inside of the handle is marked "Tiffany & Co. / 10816M2403 / Sterling / 1." There is one small lion passanthallmark on the outside of the handle. There is what appears to be a monogram, but the letters are uncertain. Theyappear to be 2 mirror-imaged entwined "K's." The fine rosewood shaft ends in a 1" brass and steel ferrule. There is aminor dent in the rim of the cap, but otherwise the cane appears unused. Overall length, 39.25".(EST1500- 2000)
