GRAY ( Thomas ). Poems. By Mr. Gray. Sleater originally ended his edition at p. 151 (the end of the Elegy), as the final two gatherings have their signatures in square brackets. Sleater then added the final eighteen leaves which contain not works by Gray but parodies of his poems - two of the Elegy (an Ode on Ranelagh, and the more famous Evening Contemplation in a College) and one of The Bard (by Robert Lloyd and George Colman the elder). There is another Sleater edition of the same year with a very curious pagination sequence ending on page 211. Ms "Ex Libris S.
