THOMAS GRAHAM</b> (1805 - 1869) Scottish chemist who formulated Graham's Law relating the diffusion of gases to their densities, discovered and named the process of dialysis used to separate crystalloids. Rare A.L.S. 3pp. 8vo., London, Oct. 12, 1867 to William H. Miller, a mineralogist who developed the present system of crystallography. Graham mentions his hope that Parliament will push for the acceptance of metric standards or recommend their provision. Very good.<b> $100-150</b>
