Fine content A.L.S. with A.M.Q.S. in text, 1p. 4to., Great Neck, Mar. 19, 1979, to Michael Judd, in part: "...I do not have any one particular 'idol'...I think Music and Art and the whole history of human expression is filled with many 'idols'...I cannot pick out one particular composer, or kind of music...". He then adds a fine four measure A.M.Q.S. from "Spirituals for Orchestra". With the signed transmittal envelope, near fine condition. Along with a brief A.L.S. by composer NORMAN DELLO JOIE 1p. Oblong 8vo., [n.p., n.d.], responding to the same correspondent's question. In part: "...I would say that my father and the composer Paul Hindemith who was my last teacher influenced me the most. My idols are Mozart, Verdi, and Prokofiev...". Fine condition. Two pieces.
