The silver tau-shaped handle on this cane has elegant floral design elements, similar to many used for furniture. Therim is stamped with a number of symbols, including "Sterling"; "Gorham Mfg. Co."; a symbol resembling afleur-de-lis; an anchor; an elaborate "B"; "71"; plus an indeterminate mark. The handle is 2.5" high and 4.25" wide.The hardwood shaft has a 1.25" nickel and steel ferrule. Overall length is 33". Some wear to finish of shaft,especially near center. An elegant stick.(EST 600-800)
