A nice unmarked (approx. 14K) yellow gold knob that is mushroom shaped and 1" high x .75" diameter, mounted ona segmented bamboo shaft in black varnish finish with 1.5" nickel & steel ferrule. Total length 34.75".Tiny scratches on gold, moderate wear to finish of shaft.(EST 200-400)341 . FLASK CANE WITH ORIGINAL LABELED VIALA nice simple flask cane with the original packaged material in labeled clear glass 9" long flask tube with corkstopper, still sealed. The paper label reads "Burnett's Gold Medal Mexican Vanilla..." with directions for use insmaller type "Joseph Burnett Co. Boston, Mass.". Flask still with original seals. This item was typical of flask canes imported during Prohibition in the U.S. to get around customs agents. The cap or handle is a simple engine turned brass fiction fitted lid on matching brass collar. Mounted on a tapered, non-segmented cane shaft. Total length 42".Label toned with light chips at margins, appears to have never had a ferrule.(EST 200-300)
