This knob-handled presentation cane has bright-cut scroll, floral and geometric designs around the side, and is 2.75"high and 1.5" in diameter. The hexagonal medallion on the top of the handle is inscribed, "St. Luke's / Church / to /Rev. E. K. Buntzinger / 1879 / Christmas." The ebony shaft ends in a 1.5" nickel and steel ferrule. There is somewear to finish of shaft, ferrule, and inscription, and 5" and 2" drying cracks near center of shaft. Overall length,32.25".(EST 400-600)
