A fine American gold-filled bright cut knob with nice Victorian style scrollwork & gothic arched panels. Topengraved "To Geo H. Lapham from Ezhiel Castner, Penn Yan, NY, 1882". Knob is 2" high x 1.5" diameter.Mounted on a nice tapered ebonized hardwood shaft with 1" steel ferrule. Total length 35.5".Minor nicks in knob, wonderful original finish.(EST 300-400)
