This green satin glass figural powder jar known as GODIVA is shown and described on pages 32-33 in Whitmyer: Bedroom & Bathroom Glassware of the Depression Years. With a striking Art Deco design featuring a sitting flapper girl, with outstreched legs, resting against a tiered column. The base, like the lid, is eight sided and diamond shaped. She is beautifully executed with fine definition and attention to detail. The jar with lid measures about 5" x 4" and, with the exceptions of several tiny nicks under the rim and one small nick on the bottom, are both in excellent condition
