GN/LNWR Joint 3-aspect HANDLAMP (red, green, orange). The body, stamped "GNR 12893", bears two brass plates "Great Northern Railway Company REDMILE No.7" and "GN & L & NW Joint Stock". The reducing cone is also stamped "GN & LNW". A double pie-crust top; correct fore and aft vessel stamped "GNR 8698"; brass/ceramic burner; copper reflector, and all glasses. In fine, original condition. Note Redmile station, on the Newark-Melton Mowbray GN/LNW Joint line, opened in 1879 and closed in 1953.
