Goodacre's most well-known works are the <I>Vietnam Women's Memorial</B></I> in Washington, D.C. and her numerous bronze portraits of American political figures including Stephen F. Austin, Dwight D. Eisenhower and Ronald Reagan. Moreover, Goodacre designed the face of the Sacagawea dollar coin 1999 and in 2006, the artist assisted in the design of the U.S. quarter coin representing New Mexico.
