(1865 - 1936) Russian composer who studied under Rimsky-Korsakov and Liszt, he wrote eight symphonies, ballets, piano pieces, and a symphonic poem. Rare I.S.P. 4"" x 5 1/2"" b/w, a cabinet format image showing the youthful Glazunov in a chest, up pose. Inscribed in the lower margin: ""To Solomon Issakovich with the memory and respect of A. Glazunov. May 19, 1908"". Slight scratching to image and a bit of skipping to part of the inscription, otherwise very good condition. A handsome image, suitable for display.
