<B>GIANT DINOSAUR PUBIS BONE</B></I><BR> <I>Camarosaurus supremis<BR>Jurassic, Tithonian stage<BR>Bone Cabin Quarry, Morrison Formation, Wyoming</B></I> <BR>This massive Camarosaur pubis really exemplifies how big these herbivorous sauropods grew - up to 60 feet in length and weighing in at almost 20 tons. The Camarosaur was a quadruped, and despite the size and heft of this pelvis section, it presumed from the arrangement and design of the vertebrae that it was unable to support itself on its hind legs along. This specimen exhibits excellent preservation, with superb bone quality and almost no restoration, and measures 34 inches in length, mounted on a metal display stand.
