Although the individual-name concept was later abandoned, this early artwork shows the strength of the concept, and demonstrated that the Hasbro team was certainly on the right track. The inner box bottom has a penciled notation, "Regular #37 38 in Marine 'green'". Rendered by an unknown staff artist, this rare artifact measures 13" tall by 3.5" wide, and is in excellent condition overall. <I>From the personal collection of Don Levine, creator of GI Joe.</B></I> <B>Estimate: $25,000-up</B> </FONT></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><BR><!--<a name="PricesRealized"></a> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#000000"> <tr> <td width="100%"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3"> <tr> <td width="100%" bgcolor="#79735C"> <a name="PR"> <font face="arial" size="3" color="#FFFFFF"> <b>Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions</b> </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#F6F6ED"> No Prior Data Recorded </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <font face="arial" size="1""> PLEASE NOTE: All prices realized reflect the final hammer price PLUS the buyer's premium in auctions that charge a buyer's premium.
