Offered here is the Air Force fighting man, aptly named "ACE - FIGHTER PILOT." Although crudely painted and assembled, this rare artifact features bright, kid-friendly colors and strong design elements. Assembled by pasting painted panels onto a mock-up box, the side panels on this box are the least detailed of the three early box prototypes offered here. The box bottom has a penciled notation, "with fake zipper pock orange suit," presumably referring to the jumpsuit that would ultimately adorn the figure. Standing 13" tall by 3.5" wide, and still in excellent condition, this would be a true coup for any GI Joe collection <I>From the personal collection of Don Levine, creator of GI Joe.</B></I> <B>Estimate: $25,000-up</B> </FONT></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><BR><!--<a name="PricesRealized"></a> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#000000"> <tr> <td width="100%"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3"> <tr> <td width="100%" bgcolor="#79735C"> <a name="PR"> <font face="arial" size="3" color="#FFFFFF"> <b>Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions</b> </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#F6F6ED"> No Prior Data Recorded </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <font face="arial" size="1""> PLEASE NOTE: All prices realized reflect the final hammer price PLUS the buyer's premium in auctions that charge a buyer's premium.
