GHAZNAVID: Arslanshah, 1116-1117, AV dinar (5.46g) (Ghazna), AH510, A-V1650, second series of Arslanshah's dinars, with circle of pelleted annulets around the field on both sides, full bold date, probably the 2nd best example of this type, VF, RRR, ex Yusuf Alokozay Collection. Until this collection became available, no gold coins were known for Arslanshah, who only ruled for a very short time. His dinars are dated either AH509 (only 2 or 3 known) or more commonly AH510, the the majority of all his dinars have the date off flan or illegibly engraved.
