A fine group of ephemera, including a walnut plinthe mounted with a piece of grapeshot, a Union button, a piece of granite, a fossil blastoid, and the tip of a minnie. Inked on base "From Gettysburg" along with a grapeshot, three minnie's, a bullet from a handgun, a peach pit, and several pieces of granite, all wrapped in a sheet of paper "From Little Round Top". PLUS an 1880s cabinet card showing the interior of Danner's Battlefield Museum. WITH a lump of fused tacks in paper labelled "Widerich's Battery...(Unreadable)." Provenance: From the effects of Captain W.H. Mickle, 134th New York, who was wounded at Gettysburg and participated in several GAR reunions at the battlefield.
