PISTOL. Cal. 7.65mm. S# 591313. Bbl. 3 7/16". Model 1934 semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Mauser for the German military during World War II. Left side of the slide is marked with the S# within a milled panel, followed by Mauser's single line address, with "Cal. 7,65 D.R.P.u.A.P." marked on the right. Sideplate is marked with the Mauser banner logo, with an Eagle/655 and an eagle firing proof marked on the left side of the frame. Metal components exhibit a polished salt blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with a 1-piece flat checkered wrap around wood grip. Fixed half-moon blade front sight with dovetailed U-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, sideplate, slide, and bbl. Mag. is absent. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory salt blue finish, showing light to mild edge wear and some small superficial handling marks overall. Near mirror bore, exhibiting a single relatively small spot of mild pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grip shows scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, with a chip present at the bottom left corner on the left side. (25-4240/MLW). CURIO. $400-600.
