This small, hand painted coffee can demi cup, with matching saucer,
is marked only with a six-pointed star (mogen david.
According to the Kovels, variations of this devise was used by a
a number of German potters including Nymphenburg, Ilmenau
and Lettin. The folk-style painting and colors suggest origins in
the 1830s-40s. The pattern is based on Asian pocelain.
