Having been wounded during World War I, he afterward developed a more personal syle characterized by vivid color and textured surfaces. Signed lithograph entitled “Illustration I” from the Mythology Series, b/w, 11”x15”. Removed from art book editions published by Derriere Lemiroir Maeght, Paris, ca. 1950-60s. Signed in bold pencil, “<i>G Braque</i>” on border beneath image. Fine example. Nicely matted and ready to frame. Overall 14”x20”.</span></p>
