Sheppard</b> (1880-1937), Vicar of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, London, a well-known religious broadcaster and pacifist in the 1920s and 30s, requesting permission to include extracts of some of Shaw’s writings in an anthology, mentioning five of his works. Shaw responds, “<i>Yes, of course: anything you like. Forgive delay</i>...” Boldly penned and signed, adding “<i>4th June 1904</i>.” Annotated in an unidentified hand in red pencil.
