Together with: Canada Steamship Lines exhibition announcement , November, 1928; and two Canada Steamship Lines catalogues of the artist's exhibition of paintings and drawings. Note: This Toronto born artist entered the Royal Military College, Kingston and later served in the Royal Navy. While serving in Canadian waters and abroad, he sketched many of these works fueling his overwhelming interest in shipping history and marine painting. Many of his drawings formed the basis of fully worked watercolours and maps which were exhibited under the auspices of the Canada Steamship Lines and or reproduced in his book, Freshwater, A History of Great Lake Shipping.
