Pair of scarce and early Gaelic Athletic Association Championship Medals awarded in the first and second year of the Association's existence. Both won by J. Hennessy, the first for the 3 Mile Walk, 1885 the second for the 7 Mile Walk, 1886. Attractive white metal medals, the obverse decorated with gaelic symbolism and motifs, the reverse with a shamrock bearing the names of Dr. Croke, Davitt and Parnell and inscribed with details of the race and recipient.
