This series of three lithographs was published in 1980 by Kunstverein Braunschweig. The edition comprises 60 + XV copies. The present sheets are copies outside this edition. The lithographs show black forms that vary from sheet to sheet in size and density of composition. On the first sheet they are very small and arranged with a little distance from each other, in the second sheet, they are much larger and overlap crowded. In the third sheet they are just as big, but spread very loosely on the scene.
The three lithographs of the series are each signed and dated lower right in pencil ‘Uecker 80’, dedicated below in pencil ‘Für Stefan Kovac von Günther’ and consecutively numbered from I to III. The title page is dedicated, signed and dated lower center in pencil ‘Für Stefan Kovacs von Günther Uecker 80’. All four sheets show minor to somewhat darkness along particular edges. Lithograph II bears a tiny tear (0.6 cm) in the upper edge, lithograph III a trace of soil and yellow discoloration in the lower margin that affects the dedication and reaches up to the image. The title page is inscribed upper right by another hand. The images measure each around. 32.3 x 47 cm, the sheets 56.4 x 56.4 cm.
