Comprises: 1.) Three 32mo color lithograph advertising/campaign cards printed by Hubbard, Boston, MA., 1884. Each bears identical jugate portraits of Cleveland and Hendricks surmounted by a federal eagle with different businesses advertised on bottom right of each piece. 2.) Three 32mo color lithograph advertising cards issued after President Cleveland's White House marriage to Frances Folsom. Each card depicts the newly married couple engaged variously in shopping for fabric, operating a sewing machine, and depicted in a heart-shaped die-cut card for sewing thread. Versos contain vendor imprints. 3.) Small 8vo double-side sheet for Quaker Bitter with portraits of Cleveland and Hendricks on one side and Blaine and Logan on the other side. 4.) Small folio imprinted tissue sheet with faint ornate chinoiserie border ornament. Bears bold text "Cleveland and Hendricks Supper, Kittery, Nov. 27th, 1884." 5.) Printed textile containing a bust length, 3/4 profile, portrait of Hendricks published by J.H. Bufford's and Sons. 6.) Black printed off-white satin campaign ribbon. Features albumen jugate portraits of Cleveland and Hendricks contained within federal shields surmounted by an eagle with wings spread. 7.) Newspaper group spanning June 3 through June 8, 1884 with coverage of both the Democratic and Republican National Conventions. Newspapers include: The New York Times, The New York Herald, The Sun, and The New York Tribune.
