Unusual and delicate Victorian two-tiered jug with pierced top which filters contents into bottom half before serving. It is decorated with yellow, white, red and green flowers, gilt accents and a raised pattern on handle and borders. It is marked on the underside with the printed mark "G Bros" in a star within a circular band and the text Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. This mark was used in the 1891-1900 period by Grimwade Brothers in their Stoke-on-Trent works. The Grimwade Brothers factory adopted the trade name ?Royal Winton? in the 1920's after obtaining a Royal Warrant from King George V. In very good used condition with some wear to gilt and minor signs of age as shown. Please ask questions, request additional photos and shipping costs before buying.
