Fully Transferrable Gordon Ingram/ Police Ordnance Model 6 Police Sub-Machine Gun with Trunk Case an
Introduced in 1948 and produced by the Police Ordnance Company, this Gordon Ingram design (of later MAC-10 fame) was patterned after an early model Thompson sub machine gun, though mechanically used a simplified open bolt blowback mechanism with fixed firing pin and a 2-stage trigger. A limited production item, the Model 6 was sold to policemen, prison guards, and the Cuban Navy. Blade front and adjustable notch rear sights, with the chamber marked "INGRAM PATENTS PENDING/ POLICE ORDNANCE COMPANY/ LOS ANGELES CALIF. U.S.A./ M6 MILITARY CAL. .45 A.C.P." and a selector switch on the right side, marked "SAFE", "AUTO" and "SEMI". The selector acts as a trigger block, operating in addition to the bolt notch on the receiver tube. Pistol grip forearm and smooth pistol grip stock. In a hardcase with three extra magazines. NOTE: This is a fully transferable NFA Class III Firearm currently on a Form 4. You are required to check your state and/or local laws as to whether or not you may own this.
